New sites, Google ads, and inner calm. What a time to be me. I had a lot of these drawings finished early on in the week because they actual drawing wasn't that hard this week. And so I had a really good week. I worked at the book fair here at ucla, I had a concert at the UCC with the music ministry, I got to hang out with my cousin on Friday night because he came to visit his girlfriend, and tonight I got paid 50 bucks for a recording session for some pep band stuff for Adam Sandler's new movie, Click. So it has just been an amazing week. Didn't mean that the week was all happy and stuff, but every bit of the week was good, and I don't regret going through a single bit of it. So yes, I have put google ads on my page, thereby giving me a source of income with which I hope to offset the cost of domain registration and hosting space and stuff. And if you see an ad that is usefull to you, by all means, click away. I would just like to say to my friends and family who frequent my comic that Google is pretty strict about not clicking on adds a whole bunch of times just to create revenue. So don't think clicking ferverently will be helping your beloved family member or friend. I would very much like it to not have to put "arrested for fraud" down on my resume. It doesn't make it look so good. But if it's a useful ad, then, well.... I've already unaccomplised myself by writing this paragraph. So anyway, I have to go. My roommate Brandon caught something going around his family that the doctors say doesn't look exactly like Strep throat, but they're treating it like it is. So I'm tired, and he's trying to sleep, and the light's probably not making it any easier for him to slumber. So, Peace out! |
