HORRAYYYYY!!! I've launched the site! You have no idea all the work that's gone into making this site operational (and look good) so that you could enjoy the comic without having to remember that crappy url that I had before. It is today that I take a major step towards joining the big boys of the comic world. I can fully establish my comic, like Real Life, or VGcats, or all of those internet phenomenons, and that's a good feeling. It feels like I'm really taking this thing serriously, a feeling that has been growing stronger ever since I got to college. So, yay for that. In other news, I went to see the Aquabats play at the Glasshouse in Pomona last Friday. It was the best concert I've ever and probably will ever go to. They fought Cobraman, they sang Giant Robot, the MC Bat Commander made up this crazy story for the middle of Pool Party, they flung pizza into the audience during Pizza Day, and they launched 5 little children into the safety of the crowd's outreached arms during their enchore song that they'll be using to end the shows this tour. Oh, it was truely magical. Not like the El Ray show, where everyone was all crowded together. At this one, everyone had room to do their own thing, be it stand still, mosh with people, or just skank around like nothing else mattered, and that was the magic. My friend, Meghan, who couldn't stand up to the constant moshing of the El Ray show, was able to join us out on the floor because of how spread out people were. Just serriously, there's little that a show can do to top that. Unless I found a way to be up on stage with them, like that one girl who asked that guy to Prom at the show, in which case it would probably top it. But, yeah, it was an awesome show, and if you were there, you know what I mean. Anyway, that's all that's new. Launching the site, and the concert I went to. Like serrious change your life concert. That's all for now, so look for another comic up next week, along with the filling in of some of the not finished pages on the site. *coughCharacterscough* Peace in the middle east and a chicken breast in the middle west. |
