Lesson #1: Never try to draw comics on crappy paper. Oh man, the paper I used for this comic was totally horrible. I was ending my spring break last week and went to Office Depot to get more paper 'cause I ran out up here and the paper they had at home sucked in a different way. So I buy a ream and once I start drawing on it, I realize that it's way too smooth and it doesn't grab the pencil and the pencil slips around a lot. Anyway, it wasn't that fun, but it did have one good consequence. In the last frame, Corbral's eyes are grey, hinting that when he uses his tongue, he doesn't rely on his eyes. It wasn't intentional, but now that it looks like that, I'm going to stick with that explination.

Anyway, the quarter started, and I was so psyched because I wasn't going to have to spend much money on books, but then I got to my Japanese theater class and they tell us "Oh, so you have to buy this course reader, available only in one place, and you have to buy three other books, but we'll sell you one of them for a 40% discount at $30." That kinda ruined my day, 'cause money doesn't grow on trees. But I guess I'll find a cheap way to make it work. I guess.

Besides that the start of the quarter's been good. Good classes this quarter. And two of them are seminar style, so I only have one class tomorrow. It means I can start drawing the next comic as soon as I buy better paper. Yay.

So that's all. I gotta get started on my homework, 'cause I have kendo tonight and that goes until midnight. So Cya.
