First and foremost, you're probably wondering about the music. Well, I couldn't very well have a no-dialogue date montage and not have the music to back it up. It would just have been boring, and some of the emotion would have been lost! So, currently playing in the background: The Tall Tower - Love is in the Air. It's a song from that N64 game, Yoshi's Story. I thought the accousticness of the song would fit well for the 33% longer than normal montage that I present for you here. I would also like to give credit to Jackson, the Robot, who is a boardie from the Aquabats' forums. He gave me the wonderful idea of looking through video game music to try to find a worthwhile song. I'de forgoten that some of the best music in the world was made for video games. Thanks, Jackson. I hope you enjoy this one. It was really a lot of fun to draw. I don't get to draw Guard Turtle in unserious situations often. It's nice to draw him having a good time and actually smiling. He's usually just kicking butt and taking names... So I'm going to be blunt: I don't know if there's going to be a comic next week. I'm doing a lot of preparation for the Aquacadet Summit, especially since I'm leading the ninja troop. With Summit under a week away, I don't know if I'll have time to draw the next comic and do it any justice at the same time. I'm really going to try to give it my best effort, though, 'cause I love my readers. And that's all that's really going on in the life of the cartoonist: work, drawing, Summit. So I'll write all about summit in the next news update, and let you all know how awesome sauce it was. Peace in the Middle East and a chicken breast in the Middle West. |
