Happy MLK day, everyone. Yes, the day where we celebrate how one man came in the name of love to make the world a more equal place. Because I think the Irish (I'm mostly Irish) can, to some degree, empathise with African Americans who feel discrimination. I don't want to offend anyone, but the Irish are like the black people of Europe: The british beat down on them unfairly for a long time, they had their own seperate neighborhood of New York, and the people in charge didn't want them to vote when they first came to America. There's more, of course, and also, of course, the Irish didn't have it nearly as bad (we've had a president, go Kennedy), but my main point is that it's a good day to celebrate so that everyone remembers to love everyone else and not hate. So with the wonderful three day weekend, I came home. So this comic was assembled on the same computer that the series started on. See if you can see any differences that going back to Photoshop elements makes. I could have waited to be back at school with my cool laptop to assemble, but no. I thought of you, the fans (*shameless PR) and knew you wouldn't want to wait until Tuesday. So go ahead and enjoy Roger in his purple splendor. It took me a lot of deliberating to hone in on the color Roger would be in the comics. There were a few very good candidates. But once I did a full scale test sketch (as opposed to the fast crap ones in my sketchbook) I decided purple was better as his neutral color. If you wanna see the other candidates, I put up the test sketch on the random art page. Check it out. So that's it. I hope you all are having a good weekend. Peace out. Oh, and don't forget to tell your friends about the coolest comic that features reptiles guarding stuff. |
