Well, well, well. You all thought I died, didn't you? Nope, I just got sucked into the world of college, and it's freaking amazing. From the 18th to the start of school I had Band Camp from 9-9 every day, so I couldn't do much drawing there. Then I didn't have a computer for a while, so I felt disconnected from my comic. Then once I got Kamekon (my computer) I didn't have access to a good scanner even though my roommate has one of those DoEverything printers (he can't find the softwere). So I went home this weekend and just used the scanner there.

So it's been a long hard trek to get this comic completed. But on the good side, I have the next comic 2/3 drawn because I was tired of waiting for scanning capabilities. Horray a for me.

So college is freaking amazing. Now that I'm settled in, I realise how much time I'll have to actually draw, and that rocks my socks. If you read the last rant, you'de know that I was waiting on the results of my Japanese placement exam to see if my schedule would change or not. Well, I tested into Japanese 5 (the course right smack dab in the middle of a normal person's second year of study), so I start taking Japanese classes next quarter. The quarter system is seriously the best. 10 weeks is the perfect amount of time to have a class. I mean, we're already 30% done with the quarter, and it feels like we just started. Yay for quarter systems.

And on a personal life type note, my sister left yesterday to go to Vermont for a hockey school. She plays ice hockey, and here in California, there's not much in the way of girls hockey. But anyway, her leaving made me realize how much I'm going to miss her over the next 5 months. So if you have a sibbling of anykind, and you haven't given them a hug in a while, go do it right now. 'Cause you never know when you'll see them next, and there's no one else on earth more like you than your brother or sister.

Ok, that's all. I gotta go and get "started" on a paper. Peace in the middle east and a chicken brest in the middle west.
