Well, it's been too long. Which is why I didn't color this one. But it felt good as I was drawing it. Like this one didn't need color or something. Well, anyway, I bought a crap load of colored pencils so that I can color the myriad of reptiles with more than just one singular green pencil (I lie, I had 2) pressed down at different pressures to make the different shades. But it would have just taken me too long. I'm actually really proud of how fast I drew these. I know, that means I didn't start till now (Saturday). But I've always been afraid that it takes me too long to draw things and that if I ever wanted a semi serrious career as a cartoonist, I would have to draw faster. But I won't bore you with my perceptions of my short comings.

Now that I'm almost to college, I realize exactly how much of my time is scheduled by me: all of it. I also realize that I get to budget my paycheck. It's not that much different than budjeting christmas and birthday money, but it's just that there's so much more of a constant flow of money. Because of this, I am serriously considering cutting my ties with angelfire and registering my own domain. From what I hear, it's not that expensive, and with adds, it could pay for itself. But that wouldn't probably be until October at the earliest. I still have a bit to learn about the web before I venture into the area's where I'm not protected (and drowned in advertisements I don't get paid for).

Oh, and lastly. I'm starting a mailing list so that you'll know exactly when each new Reptile Guard comic comes out. It's been a little helter skelter in the past, but I do believe I'm getting better. I'm going to make this big so that even people scrolling down the page and not reading will still be caught by it.
