*Sigh* It's been too long. It's amazing how busy you become when you stop being busy. Anyway, here's the next one. I can finally stop this seemingly unendind fight scene, where it seems all my poses are the same, and back into the story, back into other characters. Yeah, for some reason this one felt really rushed. I had the feeling like I haven't felt about my comics since #3. It just felt like I compromised quality for speed, and I don't like that. Back when I used to draw a bunch of Kirby, (c) Nintendo, transformations, I would actually use colored pencil on it. True, my drawings were simpler, and I had loads of free time to just sit on the couch and draw, but I miss that. I feel like this comic is taking up too much of my "art time." I want to experiment like I used to. I want to use different art medias besides pencil. In short, I'm going to spend less time on this comic for a while. I'll still make them, but for probably a month or so, I'm going to go on a little sabadical. I've kinda already started. I've been watching Samurai Jack (one of the best cartoons ever made and ever will be made), and I got to drawing him and the villians for a while. I'll put up one of the good ones on the random art page so you can see it. It turned out not too shabby if I say so myself. So that's all. Next comic will be...whenever. Cya. |
